Middle school students are a tough group to teach! I have been teaching 8th grade math for 8 years, and I love it! When I tell people this they usually say I am crazy for teaching math, and I am crazy for teaching 8th graders. I know I am doing what I am meant to do, and I go to work every day knowing I will make a difference in at least one child's life.

I LOVE middle school math! This is my 10th year to teach and I love teaching sixth graders. I believe students really want to learn and it's my job to see they are engaged in the process. I am always learning and looking for new and exciting ways to teach my students.
